How utterly delightful, almost as though our dear Jane has come back to life! The trilogy was superb. Thank you for giving me something new to read that at least felt like an Austen novel. I am in awe of your talent. Judy -
Dear Ms. Aidan,(This is the rest of the post that did not make it into my previous post)You have done a terrific job filling in the blanks about Darcy and how he moved from being a man who could not be tempted to one who ardently loved Elizabeth, a proud man who was nevertheless willing to acknowldg -
Dear Ms. Aidan,I found your Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman trilogy in our local library. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it because of the reference to Lady Sylvanie on the back of the second book. I was afraid that you might be going off in a very un-Austen direction. Finally, I read the first book -
Dear Pamela, To this day, I wonder if the folks on the subway are still talking about the girl with her nose in that book, the one who didn't look up until it was time to get off the train, and who was back the very next afternoon with yet another book (because it took me roughly a few days to get f -
(cont.) Then comes a recommendation of your novels. I immediately fell in love with your writing style, so similar to Jane Austen's, your selective use of the discourse from her novel, your brilliant addition of viable situations that could have happened and characters that could have lurked behind -
I just finished 3 splendid days and 3 rather sleepless nights reading your wonderful books! I was enchanted! I absolutely adore Jane Austen and about a year ago I attempted a Pride and Prejudice sequel, from Mr. Darcy's perspective, which ended up being more than disappointing. I had to read P&am -
I, too, am eagerly awaiting the return of Dy Brougham. What a great character! I'm dying to see how things will turn out between him and Georgiana Darcy. Are there any updates on the progress of the sequels to Fitzwilliam Darcy Gentleman series? I loved the trilogy...and I don't mean to understat -
I am longing to see Dy Brougham! Please bring him back! I have read the trilogy at least 5 times! I can't get enough of it! I have been impatiently waiting for a sequal for over a year now. :o) It looks like you have a lot of pots in the fire. I hope to see your new release soon. LB -
@JeanTre16 - Hi, saw your comment. I started reading through some of the other posts on here after I made my comment. From what I read, it looks as though books 4 and 5 are coming out this year. I check in from time to time to see if there are any updates, but it looks as though Ms Aidan has not -
Ditto melissab13's comment (Nov 28)! I loved your Mr. Darcy's POV in your trilogy. I, too, would love to see your continuation of Dy Brougham's story. I've written several novel length fan fiction stories for a TV series, so I can appreciate the process. Congratulations on your success!
