How utterly delightful, almost as though our dear Jane has come back to life! The trilogy was superb. Thank you for giving me something new to read that at least felt like an Austen novel. I am in awe of your talent.

Dear Ms. Aidan,
(This is the rest of the post that did not make it into my previous post)
You have done a terrific job filling in the blanks about Darcy and how he moved from being a man who could not be tempted to one who ardently loved Elizabeth, a proud man who was nevertheless willing to acknowldge the defects in his character and change them even when he believed the effort would not win him the woman who could not be prevailed upon to marry him. You have added such richness without losing any of the charm and magic of Austen's creation.
Thank you. Even if you never do write Dy's story, thank you.
JoAnn Ridley
Dear Ms. Aidan,
I found your Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman trilogy in our local library. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it because of the reference to Lady Sylvanie on the back of the second book. I was afraid that you might be going off in a very un-Austen direction. Finally, I read the first book and by the end of the first chapter you had me hooked. I had to go back immediately for the other two.
I told my daughter to read them when she home from college. She was also enchanted.
Yesterday, Amazon sent me my very own copies and I was so happy to read in the back of These Three Remain that you are planning a book about Dy Brougham. He is such an interesting character and your references to his relationship with Georgiana are so tantalizing. You also moved her character in an interesting but logical direction.
Fletcher is another wonderful character it would be a pleasure to read about more.
You have done a terrific job filling in the blanks about
Dear Pamela,
To this day, I wonder if the folks on the subway are still talking about the girl with her nose in that book, the one who didn't look up until it was time to get off the train, and who was back the very next afternoon with yet another book (because it took me roughly a few days to get from An Assembly...to Duty and Desire).
I smiled the entire time I read your books. I ate them up; I loved them; I was intrigued, moved and touched. You are a brilliant writer.
Please dazzle me again! Please!
Sincerely,

(cont.) Then comes a recommendation of your novels. I immediately fell in love with your writing style, so similar to Jane Austen's, your selective use of the discourse from her novel, your brilliant addition of viable situations that could have happened and characters that could have lurked behind closed doors. I found myself giggling and crying, which I rarely do reading a book. It was an utter delight! One in which I am hoping to repeat very soon! I am also on my seats edge, wondering if you are in the process of writing another novel?!?! It would be a true gift to your devoted fans!!! Thank you again and again for paying this great book such a worthy tribute and enhancing the wonderful world that Ms. Austen created!
I just finished 3 splendid days and 3 rather sleepless nights reading your wonderful books! I was enchanted! I absolutely adore Jane Austen and about a year ago I attempted a Pride and Prejudice sequel, from Mr. Darcy's perspective, which ended up being more than disappointing. I had to read P&P again immediately in order to remember the quality of the storyline and writing. My major disappointments were that the styles of writing between the author's prose and Ms. Austen's dialogue made the flow of the story too disjointed and the, so obvious, feminine hand writing from a males perspective was embarrassing to read. I had sworn off all sequels since believe that no one could do the story justice. Then comes a recommendation of your novels. I, too, am eagerly awaiting the return of Dy Brougham. What a great character! I'm dying to see how things will turn out between him and Georgiana Darcy. Are there any updates on the progress of the sequels to Fitzwilliam Darcy Gentleman series? I loved the trilogy...and I don't mean to understate that because I haven't liked any other P&P sequels (or any Austen sequels, for that matter!). I periodically check this website to look for information, but have not seen any real info.
Thanks for your wonderful stories, Ms. Aidan.
I am longing to see Dy Brougham! Please bring him back! I have read the trilogy at least 5 times! I can't get enough of it! I have been impatiently waiting for a sequal for over a year now. :o) It looks like you have a lot of pots in the fire. I hope to see your new release soon.

@JeanTre16 - Hi, saw your comment. I started reading through some of the other posts on here after I made my comment. From what I read, it looks as though books 4 and 5 are coming out this year. I check in from time to time to see if there are any updates, but it looks as though Ms Aidan has not been on this site for some time. I imagine she is busy writing those books we so eagerly await. If anyone has more information on when the continuation of the Trilogy is going to be released, I would love to hear about it.
Ditto melissab13's comment (Nov 28)! I loved your Mr. Darcy's POV in your trilogy. I, too, would love to see your continuation of Dy Brougham's story.
I've written several novel length fan fiction stories for a TV series, so I can appreciate the process. Congratulations on your success!
Hi Pamela,
I absolutely love the Fitzwilliam Darcy Gentlemen trilogy. I am reading the entire thing for the third time! I wanted to know if you have any plans to write the follow up book you mention at the end of These Three Remain. I'm eagerly awaiting that book. I love Dy Brougham and am also very curious how you continue Darcy and Elizabeth's relationship after their marriage.
Pamela,
A friend introduced me to your Mr. Darcy trilogy. I have to say that I was hesitant at first, since I'm not really a Jane Austen book fan - more like a Jane Austen movie fan. (I can't get in to the language of the period.) I did, however, love this series, and am sure that the next time I watch the movie, I will have a better appreciation for Darcy's point of view. I will be recommending the books to friends.
Best wishes,
Michelle Gregory
Hello Pamela,
I am new to the world of the Darcy books, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of reading your trilogy and hated to finish just as Bobby Swenson said. I also am anxiously awaiting your 4th. I especially loved Fletcher's frequent references to Shakespeare. I have the complete works and was able to check every reference and notate them in my trilogy copies. There's one reference I didn't understand and am hoping you will make clear to me. The reference to Measure For Measure regarding Fletcher's Roquet knot showing up Beau Brummel. Could you please elaborate?
Hi, I finished the Trilogy, which I absolutely loved and have passed them on to a friend. I also have recommended them to several friends for their reading pleasure. I, as many other would agree, would simply adore a sequel to TTR. I can't tell you how much I hated to finish reading that one. Like losing an old friend.
I read the interview on the "SimonSays" page about why you started to write this Trilogy. I could not agree more with you about A and E's production of Pride and Prejudice and Colin Firth's performance. I have watch the 6 hour movie more times than I can remember and it was one of the reasons I bought your books. Reading the story for Mr. Darcy's point of view is simply a treasure. I will probably get the audiobooks for my daily "fix". Please, please create the next installment. We are all anxiously awaiting it I assure you. Thank you so much for a wonderful addition to my library.
@PamelaAidan - Well, fooey! I'd so love to see a hardcover anthology produced. I'll have to write a letter!
I only wish! Duty & Desire was the only one that got into hard cover and I've heard no peep about doing the rest. Sorry and I commiserate!

Hi Pamela!
I've just finished reading all three of the Fitzwilliam Darcy series and I have only one word: Amazing. I enjoyed your writing very much and am eagerly looking forward to the rest of the series. Would love to read more about Darcy, Elizabeth and a character which surprisingly became one of my favorites - Lord Brougham Best of luck to you and your writing!

Dear Pamela,
I've been checking Amazon regularly for the release of the Darcy trilogy in "Library Binding Hardcover". Is this still forthcoming? I own the paperbacks, but l ALWAYS upgrade my most treasured books to hardcover in my home library.
Love the new novella!

Dear Pamela......I am so happy to have found your site. Thanks for sending me directions to Wytherngate Press site which led to this. I have been in the habit of checking Austenesque site every day and I was wondering where everyone was. I look forward to the posting of Chapter 3 of Young Master Darcy. As a reader of 2-3 books a week (mostly Biographies, Autobiographies, classic literature, current mysteries etc.) I am not an expert on writing styles but I "know what I like" and I like your style of writing very much. You have given me many hours of happy reading. Lorraine
Pamela,
Are you planning an update any time soon for Young Master Darcy. I am so intrugued by the concept of this story and can't wait to see where you take it. (Seperate issue: I'm still waiting for hardover version of TTR. Is that no longer in the offing?) Looking forward to more from you. Amy Z
